Pricing policies

We provide price discounts in three main ways:

1. lower price per card for  5 packs
2. no extra shipping charges for extra cards within an order for assorted cards at the single card price, nor for extra A4 art prints within an order for art prints; and
3. for wholesale puchasers  we will negotiate further discounts on card prices and shipping. (Please contact orders@drawingafineline.com)

In addition, for 5-card pack deliveries within New Zealand, there is no extra shipping charge for extra 5-card packs.

N.B.  Because different products require different packaging, we generally cannot combine them in a single package, so we need to charge packaging and postage separately for each category.

Packaging

We do our best to ensure that drawingafineline™ products reach you in top condition.  Therefore we package them to protect them, while trying to minimise postal charges.

We normally package your cards and their envelopes in stiff envelopes (Jiffy RigiBags - 90% recycled paper) for standard despatches of up to around ten cards.  Small cards may be sent in standard envelopes but packed between stiffening board. 

Art prints are sent in standard envelopes but packed between two sheets of stiffening board for extra rigidity.   These boards are grey chipboard 600gsm/1000 microns which is 100% recycled (no bleaching or deinking), acid free, and totally chlorine free (TCF) so could be used as backing boards if you are framing the art print yourself using a standard A4 size frame.

For larger orders we bubblewrap the cards and their envelopes then pack them in strong cardboard boxes before desptach.

Postage

We send standard despatches within New Zealand by Standard Post, and for the rest of the world we use International Air Mail for small orders (up to five cards or five prints).

For larger orders packed in cardboard boxes, we use NZ Post ParcelPost within New Zealand and International Parcel Post.
