"During the 1960s, there was a kind of "dress uniform" for young women wanting to look smart: camelhair coats or duffel coats, twin-sets and pearl necklaces, Hush Puppies, nylon stockings, silk scarves (preferably paisley-patterned), pig-skin handbags and gloves... I imagined this reunion - baby-boomers meeting up forty years later - but I have seen just a few people who still dress this way hence the 'staying with the style when we knew you looked your best........"
